You are bidding on a new in the box, Woods Bladeworks Titan, custom made folding tactical / fighting knife. This is a very rare knife, being # 12 of 15 made. The blade is 5.25 inches long and is made of Crucible CPM 3V steel. The finish on the blade is grey, non-glare, matte, stonewashed finish. CPM 3V is a new tool steel made by Crucible Particle Metallurgy process designed to provide maximum resistance to breakage and chipping in a high wear-resistant steel. Crucible CPM 3V contains 0.8% carbon, 7.5% chromium, 2.75% vanadium and 1.3% molybdenum. CPM 3V offers impact toughness greater than A2, D2, Cru-Wear or CPM M4, approaching the levels of S7 and other shock resistant grades, while providing excellent wear resistance, high hardness and thermal stability. CPM 3V offers the highest impact toughness of any tool steel with this range of wear resistance. The blade articulates on two circular bearing packs containing eight cylindrical bearings per pack. To ensure smooth swift opening, each bearing pack has been meticulously lubricated with a high temperature, high- pressure lithium grease. Two internal circular cutouts in the scales house the bearing packs. The blade despite its size and weight has a smooth tuck.
