Description Gun Case/Scabbard Pictured is a repro of a beautiful gun scabbard of the early Federal period . This case was made by Kenny Robertson and is an excellent example of his ability to re-create works of art from the past. This case measurers 60" with an additional 8" of fringe. It is a replication of an original, right down to the materials, patina, and wear of a 250 year old original. This gun scabbard is constructed from very soft elk hide and lined with a 100% wool TRAPPER POINT BLANKET with tag still attached! The leather has been antiqued with natural walnut dye, authentic to the period, to give it that much sought after, used look . The case is then protected and water proofed with a traditional recipe of bear grease, mink oil, etc. etc. ENTIRE case is thonged and laced with leather. This case is sturdy enough to hold up in the worst of conditions and comes with our full guarantee ! This is a rare opportunity to own a KR piece, which have been featured in many publications and movies. Kenny's art is highly collectible and eagerly sought. This would be a beautiful addition to a F & I War or Revolutionary War collection and is fully functional and can be used with your favorite muzzleloader. For questions, Contact me.
