Welcome to my auction This is a US Army Frequency Meter BC-221-E Military Signal Corps made by PHILCO Corp. Operates off 115vac. Tube filaments and indicator lights up. The 2nd picture shows the meter face. It is in great shape.Looks new except for the thumb screws which needs cleaned. All knobs and dials operate smoothly. Able to tune in tones by rotating Dial Unit or Correction knob through built in speaker (No phones provided). There is a calibration book in front inside lid. This book is in good shape but the plastic covering is not. The 4th picture show the location of spare parts. Two of the spare tubes look brand never used. The 5th picture is a RESTRICTED Signal Corps Technical Regulations No. 1215-4 (TR 1215-4) Frequency meter set SCR-211-A dated June 20, 1939. It is a 30 page book like an operator/tech manual. It has water damage in spots but it is all there, intact and readable.The 6th picture shows the chassis removed from case. It is missing a spare crystal. The 7th picture shows where chassis sits. There is another cal book secured there. Outside: All covers are there and in good shape. No holes or dents but black paint is missing in spots. Equipment is around 70 years old, therefor no guarantees or returns accepted on this auction.
