Very Nice Working Heathkit AA-151 Tube Amplifier!! Please Carefully Study The Entire Item Description and Terms of Service Before Bidding! For your bidding consideration in this auction, a Very Nice Working Heathkit AA-151 Tube Amplifier with (Mullard) EL84 output tubes. I would call it in fine cosmetic condition - as descriptivly pictured. Of course you will find various cosmetic, and performance issues, that you don't see/find, in the pics, or written description - this is a vintage item - it needs your help!. If this is a concern for you, please e-mail me for specific, additional, pictures, or information, asap! I will be happy to provide them; as well as whatever information I can.That said, this is my experience with this amp: What 'Working: means in this auction: After wiping off the dust, etc., I found an old 5U4GA tube to substitute for a missing GZ34 (it is to tall for the case, but I include it so the amp can be tested when you recieve it, if you do not have the correct tube). I then fired it up with an old Garrard turntable and some large Empire speakers. At first I had to fiddle with the tube seating, and the volume pot quite a bit - they are all dusty (all the pots) and need to be cleaned, etc. - as you could hear the dust causing intermittence in volume, and tone, etc. This gradually became better and better, as I read more
