Here is a nice cleaned up West German Cuckoo Clock. This is a 1-day clock.Marked on the dial is "W. Germany"The movement has the following markings: Regula 25 Made in West Germany E. SCHMECKENBECHER.It has a plastic dial and cuckoo bird, the house and carvings are all wood. This clock runs very well, the cuckoo pops out of his door every half-hour; he cuckoos once on the half-hour and counts the hours on the hour. Prior to his familiar “cuckoo” song, the clock chimes on a gong. When the cuckoo sings, the bird bobs up and down, then goes back in and slams the door! Also you can see the carved leaf pendulum swing with each passing second. The bellows have been recovered. The clock measures about 10 inches high not counting the weights or pendulum, 7.5 inches wide and 5.5 deep. There has been a repair to the top carving but is not detectable from the front. All parts are included with this clock and will be shipped with unpacking and operating instructions.110K
