INFORMATION: The example above shows FINE ENAMELWORK ON OLD BRASS FROM 1915. This piece is in the condition that it was found and has not been cleaned because I know that serious collectors like to see the original patina. Buying this collectible in the condition that it was found allows the collector to see the authenticity of the piece.

SIZE & CONDITION: The item pictured above measures approximately:
1 and 3/4 inches long by 1 and 1/8 of an inch at the widest point. This 92 year old Brass and Enamel Lapel Pin is in excellent condition as you can see from the picture above. T are some very fine wear marks which are not visible to the naked eye. The reverse side of of the badge shows the maker's mark "J.R. GAUNT & SONS. LTD" and a number 65216 which is impressed into the "U" shaped fixing that goes into a buttonhole on a lapel. SHIPPING COST & INFORMATION: It weighs less than 100 g UNPACKED and will be sent, carefully packed, in a padded envelope by letter mail. For most parts of the United States the uninsured shipping cost will be approximately $1.86. For the U.K. it will be approximately $3.60 and I will be happy to combine items to save on shipping costs. If you wish to add insurance, which is advisable, please inform me after the auction.
