World War 1 US Model 1918 Bolo KNife./original USMC 1918 marked on one side of blade and "PLUM" St/ Louis 1918 on the other side of the blade some wear on the stampings readable some of the letters worn.Rough wood grips no splits of cracks Blade still has some of the bluing and the Cosmoline on the blade some scratch marks on the blade no nicks in the blade the knife hasn't been altered. Original Steel Guard One piece blade from the tip to and including the pommel 1/8 inch thick guard Inside sheath made of wood covered and hand stitched with rawhide (see the Photos) Steel throat attached to this portion of the sheath. Canvas cover with hook attached to fit onto the web belt. Leather tip of the sheath stamped A-K-COt1918B.H.S.This was all stamped with the same stamps so the initials were probably the Inspectors initials.If you have any question pleas let me know and i can send more photos.Thank you for looking!! but Payment is accepted and preferred via PayPal, but payment by money order is fine.
