WW2 German Paratrooper (Fallschirmjager) M-38 helmet - in Excellent condition. This is a very hard to find 100% original M-38 Paratrooper (Fallchirmjager) helmet from my personal WW2 German Helmet collection. Helmet comes with signed certificate of authenticity from Kelly Hicks, German helmet collector & author. Unfortunately, I have to part with this helmet due to circumstances beyond my control. My loss is your gain. No decals are present on the helmet and t is no evidence that any were ever applied. Helmet is late war example of an M-38, which has 95%+ original paint with no dings or dents. Camera flash makes the paint look much lighter and toned that it actually is. Liner is intact with very little wear, nice and supple with what appears to be some sweat stains. Black rubber crash pads are in great shape and still quite spongy with no loss in density. Liner chin straps with snaps and friction clip are intact and in very good condition. Has some dry rot in a few spots on the left upper strap mostly w it forms a 90 degree angle and starts to go under the liner but strap is still intact, so just do not mess with it if you purchase this helmet. Although helmet is late war it has 2 early type slotted spanner bolts along with 2 late war grooved spanner bolts. Marker's mark is very lightly stamped on inside flange, CKL (ET) 68. I don'
