we have a WONDERFUL example of a World War One Doughboy Helmet that belonged to a soldier in the 77th Infantry Division.The shell has 90 Percent of its original finish. Has a very unique circlular design added to the top of the shell that goes completly around. I am not sure exactly what this represents but I would guess that the soldier did this to fancy up his helmet for parades after the war to stand out just a little bit more. It is complete w/ liner. The liner is in GREAT condition and still retains the leather chin strap. It would be hard to upgrade this helmet as the condition is just SUPERB. In WW1 the 77th Infantry Division was known as THE LOST BATTALION.If you are a helmet collector or enthusiast then this is the right one for you.
