This is a nearly complete document collection for a German WW2 General. These rare historical documents encompass WWI through WW2 as commanding general of "Kampfgruppe Schilling" (attached to the First Fallschirmjager Army in 1945). T are many award documents, but the highlights are a promotion document which has the original pen signature of Germany's Fuhrer , and a German Cross in Gold document . Extensive research of General Schilling's military service is included. The documents are listed below in order as issued to General Schilling; ( PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR PHOTOS of these documents) 1) Large and elaborate promotion document "Patent" dated 1913. Issued during the period of the Kaiser and the elegant wording of the Royal Court. Commends Schilling to be an officer candidate. 2) Large format WWI award document issued when Schilling was an oberleutnant in a BALLOON UNIT (engaged in front line duty on the Western Front). Issued in 1918 and awards him several named war medals, by decree of "His Divine Majesty, the Kaiser and King". 3) Documents relating to his studies in 1920 to get his law degree.
