Offeredhere is a unique World War l handwritten diary having belong to Private Earl Martin with the 302 nd Ammunition Train. The diary contains 152 pages of the day to day life in this unit, hand printed and very readable. I have enlarged several pages. The diary measures 2” x 4” and was begun on February 25, 1918. Included with the diary are 54 black and white photographs showing military life as well as civilian life of a man who then returned to Buffalo, N.Y., and became a successful artist and architect. Also included is a two page letter from the Home Association of the 302 nd Ammunition Train , 174 Madison Ave. N.Y. All in all a wonderful piece of American History.
