These bracelets were popular during the second World War, and were engraved with the names of friends, family members, and loved ones. This item contains 8 links without a clasp. The engravings that are included are Gene, Peg, Ann L., Deloris, Janet, Elva, Bev, and the year 1943. The back of each link is marked STERLING FORGET-ME-NOT. It is in excellent condition, and a mild polishing will significantly brighten the silver. If desired, I believe that any reputable jewelry should be able to buff out the engravings to add your own. These delightful pieces of history is one to be cherished. What a lovely way of showing your love of those special to you!!
