Really unique item. Picked this up at an estate auction and was not even sure what it was. My father has a good friend who is a commercial fisherman and waterman and knows everything nautical. He explained that this is a bearing and range finder that a gunner would have used on a naval ship. It is world war 2 or slightly post world war 2 era. It is mounted in a piece of teak wood. The wood base was added at some point later for display purposes and that is not teak. This piece has brass knobs and gears and two bubble levels. All knobs turn and it is in very good shape given it's age. Very neat piece. Would make a great addition to any nautical collection or militaria display. So cool I have been hesitant to list it because it looks good at my place but I buy and sell to make a profit and it's time to let it go. Due to the fact it is vintage and will be a little pricey to ship, It is being sold as is. Please review pic.'s and ask any questions before bidding. You won't be disapointed with this piece. It will ship USPS priority with delivery confirmation. I will ship withing 48 hours of payment being made but generally within 24 depending on my work schedule. Thanks for looking.
