This is a photo album measuring approx. 8 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches made of card stock like weight paper with a tie string. The album contains a collection of a Germany Army officer's snapshots and photos. T are 38 photographs and 1 photo post card (of a German solider counting the small amount of pay he received) The photographs vary in size with 6 of the pictures being approx. 4 1/2 x 3 1/3, some others are a bit bigger and others are smaller. These photographs must showa collection of the officer's friends, not just the men in his unit ,as t appears to be many different Germany military uniforms. T is one photo of what appear to be two airmen standing in front of a German warplane (Luftwaffe) another of an officer on a horse, another with two soldiers standing in tank. The photos cover summer and winter ...again giving pictures of different types of of World War II German Uniforms from light weight cottons to heavy overcoats and quilted vest. The officer on the horse has on ear-muffs. T is one photo showing women in German Army (?) work uniforms We purchased this album directly from a German family who moved from Germany after the war to Nova Scotia. This is an original authentic album!
