antique Germany WW2 original WWII world war two German infantry officers sword - German / Prussian model M. 1856 officer saber. This style is referred to the m1856 ,.. it was basically unchanged until the end of world war two Typical Prussian style hilt and "P" guard (copied from English P.1796 light cavalry saber). this is a world war two version , made with a nickel plated blade and man made black grip, wrapped with twisted wire decent condition , birds head pommel , nickel plated blade and black painted scabbard - nice and clean ,.. fresh out of an old collection real world war two dress saber German Officers sword, The wire wrapping is still all intact and the handle is nice. The blade is good and bright with just a few spots, it will clean up and look supper This is just a very nice sword that will look great in any sword collection. A must for the edged weapon, bayonet, knife, sword, saber, dagger, stiletto, machete, infantry, army, cavalry collector.
