.Woven Cane Nantucket Basket Purse SIGNED AND MADE BY MICHAEL KANEWoven Cane Nantucket Basket Purse, made by signed and dated by Michael Kane 1981-82 This is a beautiful original Nantucket Lightship basket in lightly used condition. Please note one part of the Ivory whales tail has been chipped off. I am sure it can be easily repaired. The basket could use a light dusting and cleaning it is untouched and has not been messed with.This was bought directly from the maker on Nantucket Island. The total height to include the handle is 9 1/4" Tall and the total width is around 9". The bottom outside deminsion of the opening rim is 7 1/2 Long by 6"wide.
