Any bright white spots in the pictures are caused by lighting unless noted otherwise. Description: Wow! Up for bid is one stunning Limoges plate from the early 1900's. It was made and decorated in Limoges France and imported to New York by Lewis Straus. The heavy gold gilding is very similar to Pickard China. It has dainty relief work along the scalloped edge that is all gilded in a wide gold border. The flowers appear to be hand painted but actually are a very fine transfer. This will be a great addition to anyone's collection! It's 8 3/4" in diameter. No cracks, chips or repairs. The gold is in excellent condition as well.
