Rare 1960s PERIOD MOVIE THEATER PROMOTIONALDIE-CUT STAND UP (Standee) "CLEOPATRA" (Elizabeth TaylorRichard Burton & Rex Harrison) - Estate Fresh - Found in Old House! - This amazingly rare (I DARE YOU TO FIND ANOTHER) piece of movie memorabilia comes to you estate fresh from an old Jersey City, New Jersey home we recently liquidated (one of those types of houses where generations never threw anything away). Found packed away in one of dozens of basement trunks, this lot has sat undisturbed for decades. It’s a weighty cardboard stock glossy finish die-cut stand-up used to promote the 1963 motion picture "CLEOPTARA". The stand-up measures 25" tall by 22" across. It depicts the film's three primary actors, Rex Harrison, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Items like this were given to movie theaters to display to promote upcoming/current movies, then were usually discarded when done. This rarity was found tucked away between two framed pictures away from any direct light and has thusly retained its vivid colors all these years later. Overall good condition, it does have age wear (examine ALL the images below). There is a vertical bend/crease just to the left of Liz's face/head. There are about six or so staple holes most of which aren't really noticeable amongst the busy patterns. I’m not sure how it may have stood up
