#WOW# 1987 DELFT PORCELEYNE FLES 5-1/2" PITCHER VASE ITEM: Beautiful pitcher or vase from Holland's top pottery, De Porceleyne Fles ("The Porcelain Bottle"). Large format with lovely curves and a strong handle, decorated with an intricate floral motif painted in the traditional Fles blues on a crisp white background. Wide mouth allows pitcher to be used as a vase. The bottom has the Fles logo, the original factory sticker, and the typical markings. SIZE: 5.5" (13.5 cm) tall, and almost 3-3/4" at the widest diameter. Mouth is 2-1/4" wide. DATE OF MANUFACTURE: DG = 1987. CONDITION: Excellent, with no repairs, cracks, chips, flakes or flaws. T is a bit of shelf-wear on the unglazed underside, but no crazing, as would be normal for Porceleyne Fles items. Unless described , any light spots or smears on the pictures are from our photo lights. PAINTER: MvG , which M. van de Haag, who began painting at Fles before 1987. APPRAISED VALUE: $70-100 in the USA for a pitcher-vase of this quality, workmanship and condition.
