Thanks for looking! No RESERVE! 3 DAY AUCTION! This is a great piece of American Folk Art! Its a carving of a bull ( You know a male cow ) C. 1900-1930's. Made of solid wood great detail with horns as well as the unit that makes it a bull!! I have owned this for many years. I do not know what it was used for but there is a screw/eye on the belly. The paint is what you see in the photos. Size is approx. 22 1/2 inches long X 8 inches wide X 10 1/2 inches tall. ALL ORIGINAL I have not done any thing to this wonderful piece! The starting price is what I payed for it about 25 years ago. I'm sad to let it go but my new home is to small and I hate having pieces like this sit in a box (it has for about 5 years now) and my taste has changed with age. So it (he) need a new home. Good luck bidding on this one of a kind carving! Sorry if you think the shipping is high (lower 48 sates only)but it will be packed very carefully in a much larger box than the piece. I was just asked if the tail was broken off. I was just going to say no but I looked at the carving (had to look at it upside down) And yes there was a tail and it broke off sometime in the past! I NEVER noticed this in all the years I have owned this! Damn! I'm glade someone noticed!! But, I feel it does not take way any character from this great piece of Folk Art!! I have always thought I was lucky the horns are still in place!!! I reduced the starting price because of it's tail!!
