Packing Your Specimen Each specimen is carefully wrapped in tissue paper and then bubble wrap. More delicate specimens are often wrapped using cotton batting too. The box is packed tightly with filler to prevent movement of the specimen in the box. While your specimen may only weigh a few ounces, the box itself and the packing may weigh more. We hope you will use the same vigilance in UNPACKING that we use in packing. Shipping Insurance In an effort to protect our buyers we are requiring insurance on most items, due to several recently mishandled & damaged parcels.
