Up for auction today is a great German puzzle mug. I purchased this at an estate sale in Arkansas from a woman who said that her mother, who lives in Germany, sent this piece to her. It is in perfect condition, no nicks chips or cracks. The mug measures approximately 7" high and 4" in diameter at the base (3-3/4" at rim). Fashioned from heavy white fine quality porcelain, the handle is styled to look like a branch and t is a lovely nude with a simple wrap draped over her arm visible in the base of the piece. The transfer printing on the front says "DEUTSCHLAND" and has great design with an eagle, flags, and more. These steins are called puzzle mugs because you have to figure out how to drink from them without spilling out the many holes (this piece has a hole down at the bottom of the stein by the handle, the fluid comes up the handle and you drink from one of the holes on the handle or rim).
