Up for bid: one lot of eight (8) very nice Canadian / Canada Proof / Specimen Commemorative Dollar coins in hard display cases from the Royal Canadian Mint! The pics you see show the actual coins you will receive. Recap of the coins offered in this lot: 1972 Voyageur; interestingly toned from the sponge rubber which helped secure the coin in the case (mintage: 341,581) 1973 RCMP; has unusual "mottled" toning, also from the sponge rubber in the case (mintage: 904,723) x2 1974 Winnipeg Centennial (mintage: 628,183) 1976 Parliament Library (mintage: 483,722) x2 1977 Throne of the Senate (mintage: 744,848) 1978 XI Commonwealth Games (mintage: 640,000) (Mintages found : /script/getitem.asp?PID=29 , provided for reference only; accuracy not guaranteed.) The six (6) coins from 1974 - 1978 remain encapsulated in plastic as issued by the Mint; the two (2) coins from 1972 and 1973 became toned because the Mint did not encapsulate them. Each coin contains 0.3750 ounces of SILVER; total silver content of this lot = 3.0 ounces! Starting price equals the melt value as of Friday, April 2: 3.0 ounces X $17.88 = $53.64 Note my very reasonable shipping costs to the US and Canada; discounts always given to multi-item winners!
