This is just o ne of MANY lots of NOS Chri stmas cards from the estate of a n owner of a n out -of -business local stat ionery/book store being listed this week. With expedited shipping you can get the se cards in lots o f time to use them this Christmas! This is a lo t of 1 7 Christmas greeting cards or calling cards from the 1920s/early 1930s for a NEPHEW , meas uring 5 inches by 4 inches. NOTE: one card has a faint 'shadow stripe' down the front cent er . These are made from good quality card stock , and are HEAVILY emb ossed and beautifully tinted in greens, red, violet and blue . T he candle desi gn has an art nouveau influence, and the h eav y embossing creates an effect of noticeable rel ief/dime nsion. T hese cards are 'flat' (they don't fold op en) , so you could sign your name on the bottom o r write a br ie f message on the back. The envelopes are made of a good quality cream coloured paper and are in excellent condition with no glue-shadowing/bleed through. The y come in their original decorative box (in good condition).
