VINTAGE BRUMBERGER WOODEN DECORATOR DOLL HOUSE This item is vintage, never assembled, never played with, and from an unopened box. Please read the entire description for all details. When I first listed this item I wrote "This is a beautiful doll house that should bring back a lot of great memories. The box says it comes fully equipped with assorted printed wall paper and paste, 4 non-toxic washable paints with pan and roller, assorted floor covering and wall decorating accessories, and a bendable doll family. As displayed in the picture, the front of the box has a fish shaped hole in it, but has never been (fully-see next paragraph) opened. It would also be a great addition to any collection. You don't see many of these that are still in their original box and unused, so get it while you can. This is the first one I've EVER seen in new-in-the-box condition. Since it's unopened, I assume all the parts are inside but due to the hole, I can't guarantee it. On one end of the box the outer flap is separated from the inner flap (difficult to describe - there are 2 flaps and a side support all held together by the original "industrial size" (and surface-rusted) staples. I was able to partially pull back the outer flap and see a jar of paint and two plastic bags that have furniture in them. There are also multiple large sections of the doll house material. It looks complete. Due to it's size, I doubt anything could have fallen out of the "fish hole" other than maybe a jar paint (which probably isn't any good now anyway)." SINCE THEN, I'VE CAREFULLY OPENED THE BOX TO CHECK FOR CONTENTS AND CONDITION I'VE ADDED 8 ADDITIONAL PICTURES WHICH SHOW THE CONTENTS OF THE BOX. It looks like everything was in the box. I can't be 100% sure because there is no parts list in the instruction/"designer's handbook of interior design" manual (included as pictured). All the house pieces are here and in new condition - (1 roof panel has a few minor places that the blue color came off (fix with a marker, paint, or crayon), the other roof panel also has one similar spot. The furniture pieces are different colors (but the exact same pieces) than is shown on the box, but I assume that's the way these sets were made. Three of the feet on the plastic crib are missing. The 2 vinyl(?) panels could use a cleaning. There is a brown unmarked (and sealed/unopened) box that I assume contains the paints, roller and assembly hardware - I didn't open it. WOW! The original manual is included - This is probably a rare item - and it's loaded with interior design ideas and instructions on how to decorate the wall and furniture. There is also a bottle of paste (for the wall paper?) - which sounds dried up, but nay other glue or paste should work fine. One really nice part of the set is that the dolls are present and still in the original unopened bag (dad, mom, son, daughter). This should be a really rare feature as most dolls would be lost, damaged and/or broken by now (I believe the set was made in the 1970's - so it could be up to 43 YEARS OLD!!!)
