This auction is for a lot of five very pretty vintage embroidered runners, in various shapes and sizes! First is a large runner measuring 39" long x 16" wide that features a big, pretty basket of flowers on each end. They are pink, gold, purples and red with green leaves and the basket is brown. This is on an off white woven linen like fabric and has a crocheted trim. I find no holes or stains on this piece, just yellowing from storage, as you can see in the picture, which should come out, or at least really lighten up when laundered. Next is a 38" L x 12" wide runner with each end having a lovely embroidered southern belle centered in a black scalloped cameo style design. Each side of the cameo has a pretty pink bow and pink and blue flowers at the bottom. This is edged in gorgeous dainty white crocheted trim. I find no flaws to mention on this piece. Next is an 8 1/2 x 11" runner with a pretty southern belle dressed in pale lavender and yellow and this has a beautiful, fancier crochet trim. This piece has two light freckle stains and a very small portion of the crochet trim is coming loose and needs to be stitched back on. The third southern belle is small, but adorable, measuring 6 1/2" wide x 8 1/2" tall. T is a southern belle dressed in blue with pink and white daisies - she is centered in a variegated pink embroidered heart design. So cute - would be perfect for a little sachet pillow. Last, but not least, is a gorgeous, truly old fashioned scarf measuring 10" long x 16 1/2" wide. It is very dainty looking, with a unique squared off shape at the ends. It has an elegant pink variegated crochet trim around the entire piece. This is a beauty - very unique, with no flaws to mention except 3 very tiny gray freckles, which I never noticed until folding it.
