WPGC RADIO STATION ADV LIGHTER 1950/60'S MD Vintage adv lighter circa 1950/60's era. It was used and has some minor overall wear. Hinge is tight. Below is what I found out about the station. Displays well ! 1 1/4" x 3/8" x 2" tall On November 12, 1953, RONALD BENNETT received a construction permit to build and operate a new Morningside, Maryland broadcasting station. The FCC assigned a 250 watt daytime only operation to the station on 1580 kilohertz. The call letters WPGC, representing Prince Georges County are issued late in the year.
