WRECK AND SINKING OF THE TITANICTHE OCEAN'S GREATEST DISASTER Edited by MARSHALL EVERETT L.H. WALTER, 1912 ILLUSTRATED FIRST EDITION Many years ago, a boy owner of this book wrote his name on the inside cover. His name was WILLIAM MASTERS. I do not know if he was a relative of any of the survivors. The book is COMPLETE, with NO pungent odor, and is SOLIDLY BOUND, but it has the following condition problems: (1) The J. Bruce Ismay (White Star Line Manager) photo is badly torn and retaped - almost as if the book's owner was personally mad at him. [See my related digital item photo below.] (2) Some of the outer edges of the pages are a little rough, but the script is fine. (3) The cover is certainly in very rough condition - it is buffed and scratched, and has two small holes on the spine. Overall, the book is in FAIR CONDITION. I INVITE YOU TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTION ITEMS. NO RESERVE. COMBINED RATE SHIPPING ON MULTPLE PURCHASES. PLEASE ENLARGE ITEM PHOTOS BELOW WHEN APPLICABLE FOR GREATER DETAIL NOTE: It just occurred to be that the "William Masters Book" signature might really be a possessive (that is Master's), So this could open up the possibility for new research into the name (e.g. "William Master" or even "Master William") .
