For your consideration is a 9' Wright & McGill Water Seal Fly Rod. All sections are approximately 36.5 inches long, except one tip is 30 inches and is missing it's tip top and ferrule. The full length tip is split and delaminating at the very tip top end. It is currently held together with masking tape as seen in the pictures. All the wraps seem original. The ferrules are in great shape and are original Wright & McGill nickle silver with the factory witness marks. The ferrule sizes are 19/64 on the butt and 13/64 on the tip. The patented Wright & McGill nickle silver internal uplocking reel seat is original and in great working condition. The full wells cork grip is in great shape. Original perfection tip top and snake guides. The blank is dark ammonia treated impregnated cane. This is the only model Wright & McGill impregnated. This rod is basically a parts rod since a new tip will need to be made. Made in the USA probably in the 1950s. No bag or tube.
I'm selling this rod to finance some tools and materials for my bamboo rod shop. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
