This is a vintage Wrights W5 leather bicycle seat or saddle made in Birmingham England by The Wright Saddle Co.Ltd. It has never been mounted on a bicycle and it has been in storage for over half a century. This is a new, out of stock, rare bicycle seat and it shows no wear, but has at close inspection, a couple of scratches or paint chips, from sitting on shelve or handling. I do not think, there is a nicer seat, from that time period, to be found. The black leather top is thick 3/16" in black. This saddle is very well made and would look good on any vintage or antique bicycle. Says made in England on saddle hide as shown in pictures and underneath on back of metal clamp.Awesome seat,do not miss this quality piece! Thank you for looking and please see my other listings.
