This is quite a unique and rare oil lamp / lantern. I am told it was from a whaling ship. It is made of wrought iron and the gimbal in the center keeps the reservoiur which holds the whale oil level, while the ship rolls on the sea. It is 24" in diameter, all hinges and pivots are working properly. It weighs 26.5 lbs and is in good condition. Buyer to pay shipping and handling.
