This Rarest of ALL Cow Parade Minis is in Mint Condition and includes the original Mint Hang Tag...
Each figurine measures 1" square x 3" tall. This is a great collectible for any Cow Parade or Cow fan! Although 1600 sets were manufacturered, a much smaller number were actually released. A few days after 9/11, the manufacturer was ordered by COW PARADE to DISCONTINUE making and distributing these. Many orders did not ship to dealers & these have become very rare. The original artist was Silk Fish Design, Inc. and the Cows
were sponsored by Oppenheimer Funds, Inc.
They originally appeared during the NEW YORK Cow Parade
and were on display at Tobin Plaza.
From the picture in the Cow Parade New York book (page 6),
the originals each appear to have been about 15-20 feet tall.
