***BRINGING YOU THE VERY FINEST MINERALS EBAY HAS TO OFFER!!!***` Wulfenite with Mimetite San Francisco Mine, Cerro Prieto, Cucurpe, Sonora, Mexico 1.9" x 1.4" x .7" 4.8cm x 3.6cm x 1.8cm Ex. Wolfgang Pohl Collection #215 Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely gorgeous combination of wulfenite and mimetite from this famous locale!!! This specimen consists of an intensely colored matrix of botryoidal, translucent mimetite hosting numerous razor-sharp, gemmy blades of orange wulfenite!!! Lively, showy, and in fantastic condition!!! The pics don't even come close!!! Wolfgang Pohl worked in the mining industry in Namibia in the 70s and 80s and was a prolific collector and dealer during and after this time!!! He would make trips back and forth to his native Germany trading specimens he had acquired in Africa for worldwide specimens!!! Pohl was rather meticulous with his labeling and record keeping with most of the specimens in the collection having catalogue numbers, label with info on locale, source/dealer info, acquisition date, and any other relevant notes!!! However, the most interesting feature is that most of the labels also had a small sketch of the specimen on the reverse side as well!!!
