This auction is for a Wurlitzer 200-select model 5250 wallbox. I believe this wallbox was produced for all200-select Wurlitzers from the 2200 to the 2800. It may also work on some earlier (2000, 2100 and 2150) and later (2900, 3000, etc.) models with the proper stepper and modifications, but Iâe(tm)m not completely sure of this. The chrome case has some pitting throughout, but it is minor. I think the chrome could actually be left as is or it could rechrome very well. The main downside with the front case is that someone drilled some small holes in it (on either side of the case and underneath on the bottom as well). Someone also drilled some holes in the top coinhead casting -- maybe to install a set of the rare speakers Wurlitzer made for these wallboxes. The inside electronics, etc. appear to be in good shape and complete. T is some corrosion on the inside, but minor. The "200 Selections" extrusion is missing (actually, half of it is t, but the printed part is broken off and missing). The "Wurlitzer" side extrusion has some little bends up and down the edge, but still in good shape. The screen-printed lettering is totally gone from the instruction glass. The lock does not appear to be original. It says "GEM" on the front and has no "WCX ..." number on it and the latch from the inside is missing. The titlestrip holder assembly is a bit rusty and will need to be cleaned up and will need new springs for the pages. Also, someone scraped off some of the white lettering on the top right pricing plastic. The buttons are dirty but nice, except that the #6 button has a small burn along the bottom edge, but this can be sanded flat. This unit is sold AS-IS and is UNTESTED.
