This is a 1938 Wurlitzer countertop jukebox.It is in almost mint condition.It plays perfect and is the best jukebox I've ever seen for it's age.If it was polished with bees wax you'd think that it just arrived from the factory.The only thing missing is the coin drawer and you can get those on ebay and the coin slide has the coin stop removed and it plays with a nickle or without.I've seen these sell on ebay for 5k and they all needed work of some sort;not this one.Check out the pictures.It has not been repainted or refinished.I tried to show in the pictures how perfect the white paint is on the white bands on the top front and around the record selector and w you insert the nickle.Also check out around w the base is painted black - perfect is the only word to use on a machine this old.The works are really clean and everything works like new.The needle head was changed out and upgraded in the late 40's like they all were when the astatic needles came out and it can play records for hundreds of time instead of only a couple of hundred;It was a big inprovement.It has it all I can't think of anything wrong to say about it.Check out the pictures.If you collect Jukeboxes and want the best or want to upgrade your collection it doesn't get any better than this.If you collect antiques or arcade machines and wish to enhance you collection this certainly will for sure.As I understand this machine was put in the back room of a Texas diner in the late 50's and covered and forgot about for nearly 50 years and it sure looks like it.And check out the records;all rock and roll;they must be worth hundreds and all play perfect.If you like the 50's music and are tired of Rap this machine will bring - your time - back to you..I have a small reserve on it to give the people who like to use Buy it Now a chance to do so.Cashiers check only on this, no paypal even though you must have a paypal account to bid.No bidders with less than 5 feedback please.No shippng;it must be picked up I may be able to meet within a couple of hundred miles of my house but again no shipping this has been around to long to be busted up now after all these years.Payment must be received within 7 days of sale or it will be relisted.Also I'll be putting some more items on over the next few days so be sure to check out the other items I'm selling.Thanks for looking and good luck with your bidding.
I need to add that I believe the back upper door has been replaced.And it does have some very small shrinkage cracks and t which add to the looks of it like a patina on metal does.Also I looks all around it with a magnifing glass to try to see if it's been refinished or repainted like one ebayer asked and I don't believe it has.And no I wasn't the person that found it in the diner that is the story that came with it like it seems all antiques carry with them.Let just say this is one really nice jukebox and it plays great.'s the list of the records on it and yes they come with it.I'll list them as they are on the jukebox- 1 through 12; My Blue Heaven by Fats Domino;The Great Pretender by The Platters;The Magic Touch by The Platters;OOH!
