Bell Aircraft "Bell Serviceman" Comic Book Collection 1943 All 8 comicbooks! Super Rare!! Up for sale is my treasured collection of Bell Serviceman Comicbooks. These gems were produced by Bell Aircraft after the legendary Larry Bell had an idea to bring current P-39 plane information to pilots and mechanics serving abroad. He wanted to make comicbooks! they are in all their glory more than 60 years later! Only given to pilots and mechanics of the P-39. Every page is marked restricted!Packed with information about the P-39. How to get out of spins, how to properly maintain the planes, ect in a comic book form. Don't forget these were boys fighting in WW2! Larry Bell thought a comic would appeal to them, and that they would actually read them, instead of boring service bulletins! These are extremely rare! I have only ever seen one of these outside of this collection, this is all 8 issues ever produced! Most of these were probably destroyed on islands in the Pacific during WW2. You get all 8 original comicbooks. These will appeal to comicbook collectors, WW2 collectors and Bell Aircraft collectors. Triple whammy! Super investment! The books are about twelve pages each. The comicbooks are printed on fine grade magazine paper, not cheap newsprint! Mint condition, except for a tiny punturehole w these were bound to keep in a file in Bell Aircraft's company archives, does not detract from their beauty at all. Crisp, unfolded pages. Spines are super, with no creases at all. These had been in storage for over 55 years when they were discovered in 2002. This will be your only chance to ever see a complete set of these again.
