Beautiful example of a rare Bavarian Reserve Officer's pickelhaube. I bought this at an estate sale as an original, but I can't verify that for sure. It possibly might be a war time Ersatz helmet made out of composite material. Anyway, it definitely has the look and feel of a period helmet. It does have the appreance of wear, the chinscales especially. The square front visor is accurate for this style. As is the cruciform Officer's spike. All fittings are in place. The liner is excellent quality and looks great! The Officer's wappen looks especially impressive as it is a larger size, more detail, and with the reservist cross. The wappen has the motto "In Treue Fest" on the bottom. It is a VERY impressive looking helmet, and displays extremely well. It looks beautiful on the shelf. It would look great in any collection Typically small size. Foreign bidders please contact me for shipping charges before bidding. Write with any questions, or if you'd like additional pictures. Low starting price and no reserve!
