WW II 1943 Yukon Pack Board This is the hard to find today, Yukon type pack board made in 1943 by the W. L. Dumas Mfg. Co. and is in excellent shape. It was designed early in the war after a local Alaskan pack and production was stopped after the adoption of the plywood pack board. This pack board is not like the standard and more common plywood pack board used more extensively during WWII. This pack board has eight (8) "S" hooks, four (4) on each side to lash your equipment and used for heavy loads like ammo, wire spool, water, etc. by mountain troops. It has canvas shoulder straps attached to the pack with a khaki back pad laced on the front. This pack is not common any more and would be a nice addition to your WW II mountain trooper collection. Please write with any questions. Prefer to be paid by US Postal money orders or cashiers check but do take Pay Pal. Please do not pay until I have invoiced you . Shipping is an estimate , you will be charged actual shipping. This item is not heavy but bulky. Please see my other auctions!
