Original WW II German Pioneer item.Price is not cheap, but it's my last one and this kind of device has been rarely seen on E Bay.This is a clockwork movement for a J Feder 504.This was one of the most elaborate pieces of demolition equipment available to the Germans. It was a precision-engineered clockwork timer designed for sabotage or long-delay demolitions in territory to be ceded to the enemy "according to plan".It could only be employed on the authorithy of an army commander.Timers were all serial numbered, packed in special wooden boxes , regularly tested, with results recorded in a logbook..This is only the clockwork of the full system. The heart of the fuse. This piece has still the red dial indicating the days (tage). Hard to find item, rarely seen around.Small serial number stamped on : 10224.The item was found many years ago in a dismantled mechanic shop on the hills around La Spezia,Italy. Item is in good shape, the clockwork mechanism seems to work if winded.Object sold as is.Questions welcome.Continental US shipping & handling will be $ 10.00 (USPS priority and delivery conf.)
