This World War II Marine Corps officers uniform is dated December 13, 1943, and is named to D.G. Burri. This uniform is in mint condition. The jacket is a size 36 to 38. Inside the jacket t is a little hole that has been created by the button rubbing against the lining. I have shown the hole in one of the pictures. T is a label on the jacket marked Douglas Allen, Pensacola. The Eagle Globe and Anchors have the same hallmark and are both sterling, however one sterling is marked on the eagle's head and the other is marked on the anchor. The hallmark is on the neck of each one in the same place. When you look at the picture showing the back and the front of the jacket it looks like t is some fading. T is not, it is just the way the light is shining on the jacket. T isn't any fading or stains on the uniform. The trousers are mint. No holes. The size is about a 32/32. The label in the trousers are marked Style and Material Approved by USMC. This is an exceptional uniform, Very Nice. I am beginning to sell my military WW II collection. I have been collecting for over 30 years of good original military items. None of my collection has any reproduction items. Keep watching , new items will always be added.
