This Navy Mark 2 Combat knife by Camillus is a super fine collectable from WW II. It is in absolutely excellent condition, and has never even been sharpened; which is truly amazing for a combat knife issued and used during WW II. As well as Navy personnel, many Marines ended up with these knives when they landed on the beaches during the war. The Mark 2 is the larger of the two standard issue knives and has a seven inch blade. This particular knife is marked on the guard: "Camillus N.Y. U.S.N. Mark 2". The leather handle is still super tight, and in top condition, as is this entire knife, retaining nearly 100% of it's finish. The correct Navy issue scabbard is in equally fantastic condition. It is marked on the front: "U.S.N. MK 2" and "NORD - 4723 B.M. Co 1/3 VP" on the back. This means that it was manufactured by the Beckwith Manufacturing Company, as were all genuine fiberglass composition scabbards during WW II. You won't find a combat knife in much better condition than this one unless it is absolutely brand new! Insurance is included for US buyers, and international bidders must email for shipping charges prior to bidding. Thanks for looking, and please check out my other auctions as well!
