WW II vintage US NAVY WAVES GROUP: Window Banner, Mirror, Hanky, 48 Star Flag This group belonged to WW II WAVE France Kittle, Fremont, Ohio. The handkerchief is marked WAVES. The round mirror has the USN insignia on the cloth back and comes with its original envelope. The Navy cloth banner and 48-star flag look like they have never been hung. With original folder. They were made to hang in the window of a service person’s home during WW II. The red and blue on the banner are flocked. Size of banner: 11” by7 ¾” Size of flag: 17” by 11” Condition: Very good! The flag is excellent. The white banner background is cream colored and was probably whiter originally. The mirror silvering has deteriorated and its envelope shows wear. The hanky is slightly soiled from storage, but probably would wash up well. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION! All our items are guaranteed to be as described. Buyer pays shipping, handling and insurance.
