This is a Wilkinson Sword Limited Edition of 500 knives for the United Kingdom and Canada. It is the famous Fairbairn Commando Dagger issued to all Commando Units in the Allied Armies in World War II. This knife is dagger No. W-177 of the 500 pieces. It has a gold washed handle and a polished steel blade. One one side of the blade is has the dates: 1940 to 1945. On the other side of the blade is has: UNITED WE CONQUER with W-77 near the hilt. The box has all the Commando Operations listed from 1940 to 1945 in the top inside of the box. T is a certificate of authenticity issued from Wilkinson Sword of London England. The presentation box is very nice. It is in excellent condition and shows little ware. It is dark green leattte with gold embossing. If you have any questions, please ask before bidding.
