Currently available is this gray canvas holster for the Mark 5 Signal (Flare) Pistol used by the U.S. Navy and Marine Corp during World War Two. Capable of firing signal flares, star clusters and most important for the Marines, illumination parachute flares for lighting up the area during night time Japanese " Banzai " charges, different colored signal flares and star clusters for signalling attacks or objectives taken. Made of a heavy gray canvas, this holster measures 9" X 5 1/2" (22.5 X 14.7 cm) closed and 14 3/4" (37.5 cm) open with a "lift the dot" snap closure on the flap and M-1910 frog on the reverse to attach to the pistol belt. This holster is in very good unissued condtion with some storage soiling to the canvas and some corrosion to the hardware. Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
