Ihave decided to offer for sale my WW1 collection, here I am offering for sale a WW1 1914-18 German Army Helmet, the helmet is in remarkable condition for it's age and the service it has undertaken. The chinstrap has become detached through age and the leather liner is missing although the white cushioning is still present. This type of German Helmet Stahlhelm (Steel helmet) was introduced into regular service with German Army units during the battle of Verdun, this type of helmet the side mounted ventilator lugs for use with an additional brow plate and the colour scheme/camouflage paint adopted by the Sturmtruppen (Shock Troop) units, the helmet helmet retains most of it's original paint as can be seen from the photos.
