WW1 5TH MARINES DRESS BLUE UNIFORM IDENTIFIED WWI USMC

100% Authentic WW1 ERA USMC Dress Blues. Jacket, Pants, Hat (little bit later ). Purchased from the Grand daughter of Sgt. Maurice B. Adler.
Lets start with the dress coat. The jacket is stamped inside. Quartermaster Department U.S. Marine Corps 1915-1916 Size 6L. The collar of the jacket has one EGA on right side. On the left shoulder of the uniform is a 2nd division infantry 5th marines headquarters patch. Around the left shoulder is an original very decorative French Fourragere Cord. Uniform top also has Sgt. Stripes on both arms, and an overseas patch on left forearm. All matching buttons on Jacket marked on back Horstmann phila. Jacket is in beautiful shape, with no stains, holes etc. I measured myself the jacket shoulder to shoulder is 22inches, and the sleeve length is 24 inches. I am not a professional tailor so measurements may be off slightly The Uniform pants are stamped Quartermaster Department U.S. Marine Corps 1917-1918 Size 5L. The buttons on uniform pants are marked U.S. Marine Corps. The pants are in great shape with no holes but have a few stains on pant legs and cuffs. The pants waist measures about 30 inches and the length is about 30 inches as well. I am not a professional tailor measurement may be off slightly. The Hat of the uniform is complete with the EGA on front, and matching buttons to the dress coat on both sides. Size 7 1/2 On the inside sweat band of hat it looks to be marked US Marine Corps and what looks to be 1927. On the sweat band inside some of the stitching is coming out. All Items belonged to Sgt. Maurice B. Adler and are guaranteed 100% authentic. If you look on you will find his WW1 muster calls etc. Great piece of history here, nearly complete. Please look at pictures for conditions of items. I was only able to place 12 pictures up so if you need additional pictures please email me and I will send more . I will add more information later.
