You are bidding on a authentic WW1 Belgian army bayonet . This bayonet is 23 inches in length. Tha grips are made of wood which have small pieces gouged out. The cross guard has serial number 45577 . The blade is in good condition and looks like it was never used. The sheath for bayonet has serial number of 45578 . More than likely the two pieces were accidently switched by the soldiers or wver the bayonets were stored. Please LOOK at my other items for sale!
