First World War British Medal group consisting of 1914 Mons Star with replacement bar named to 609 Sjt. G. A. Tapper. R.A.M.C., silver British War Medal and Victory Medal both named to 609 S. Sjt. G. K. Tapper. R.A.M.C., Territorial Force Efficiency Medal named to 457009 S. Sjt. G. K. Tapper. R.A.M.C. NOTE THE LOW SERVICE NUMBER., and the difference in middle initial. ONE OF THE EARLY TERRITORIALS to serve in France. The Mons Star was awarded for service in France between Aug and Nov 1914. He started the war as a Serjeant and was later promoted Staff Serjeant. Well worthy of furter research. Nice medal group. The medal is in Very Fine condition, properly named. Buyer pays shipping.
