Greetings, up for auction is a pre-WWI Collins Machete with leather scabbard. Both the scabbard and blade have the Collins markings. Scabbard marked, "COLLINS & CO. LEGITIMUS" with the hammer and crown logo. Blade marked, "NO. 1005 (5 hard to read) COLLINS & CO. HARTFORD. The handles are a dark wood, both have chips/wood missing on the handles.
