IN MEMORY OF SERGEANT THOMAS D. DREVER This collection contains the death plaque/penny of Sergeant Drever, who was enlisted in the Canadian Infantry, Quebec Regiment, 42nd B N. He was born in Hamilton, Ontario Canada on 6-27-1895 and enlisted in the Army on June 10th, 1915. Sgt. Thomas Drever fought in WW1 and was killed in action at Vimy Ridge, France on April 9th, 1917, at the age of 22. He is buried in Bois/Carre British cemetary in Pas De Calais/France, grave reference V.B.7. This collection also includes a copy of a newspaper clipping with his photo that appeared in the Burlington Gazette, in May 1917, a picture of the inscription on his families headstone, 3 original photographs of Sgt. Drever, death plaque memorial scroll and a condolence card with reference to his resting place, from the Canadian goverment, with a notary seal.
